Patch of Watch 2 for Doomfist balance buffs and nerfs Kiriko and Sojourn

Besides launch Monitoring 2In Blizzard Entertainment’s Season 2, Blizzard Entertainment is rolling out a series of seasonal balance changes in hopes of addressing gameplay issues from the game’s inaugural season. Some much-requested buffs and buffs are included in Tuesday’s patch, providing much-needed boosts to Doomfist and Junker Queen, with a drop in overall strength for heroes like Sojourn and Kiriko. Smaller tweaks are now activated in Overwatch 2 For heroes like Bastion, Symmetra, Ana and Mercy – who may be Just be more capable in battle now.

There is also a turn level change for damage heroes. Previously, all heroes in this class had an movement speed bonus, but as Blizzard noted in their patch notes, “While the extra movement speed was a useful indicator, the passive was active, we saw a change in speed negatively affect the ability to aim accurately.” Instead, damage champions will get a reload speed bonus, boosted from 25% to 35%.

As for Doomfist, he’s got plenty of mods designed to “maximize his presence as a disruptive brawler-style tank.” Improving his passive ability, Blizzard says, “will help him stay in combat longer, especially when he’s hitting multiple enemies with his ability.”

Bastion’s ultimate has become more deadly, while Kiriko has become less powerful. The Sojourn’s railgun is not a point-and-kill weapon, while Mercy gets a bit more proficient with weapons. Here’s the full list of hero changes that arrived with Tuesday’s patch:


Punch rocket

  • Increased collision damage range (min – max) from 15-30 to 25-50
  • Decreased wall hit damage range (minimum max) from 20-40 to 10-30 damage
  • Rocket Punch wall stun duration decreased from 0.5-1 to 0.25-0.75 seconds
  • The now unsupported Rocket Punch stuns a minimum of 0.25 seconds against a wall
  • The boosted Rocket Punch’s bounce radius has been reduced from 4 to 3 metres
  • Minimum time before cancellation becomes available reduced from 0.25 seconds to 0.12 seconds
  • Cooldown reduced from 4 to 3 seconds
  • This has been since it was re-done but not mentioned

power unit

  • Cooldown reduced from 8 to 7 seconds
  • Duration increased from 2 to 2.5 seconds
  • The minimum damage required to enable the Rocket Punch has been reduced from 90 to 80

  • Now Rocket Punch has managed to land
  • Sprint duration increased from 2 to 3 seconds

“Best defense…” is negative

  • Increased temporary health cap from 150 to 200
  • Temporary health gained per target hit by abilities increased from 30 to 40 health

Junker Coin

  • Torso and head injury volume increased by 12%


  • Cut time reduced from 5 to 4.5 seconds
  • Maximum cost reduction by 10%

Hooray driving

  • Cooldown decreased from 15 to 14 seconds

negative “adrenaline”

  • Increased Adrenaline passive healing multiplier from 1 to 1.25 times damage from wounds


Artillery composition

  • The delay before the projectile hits has been reduced from 1 to 0.6 seconds
  • Reduced blast damage from 300 to 250
  • No longer takes self damage from the explosion
  • The minimum delay between taking shots has been reduced by 20%.


  • Cooldown reduced from 12 to 10 seconds



  • Power delay before draining has been reduced from 8 to 5 seconds
  • Fire damage secondary fall starting range reduced from 70 to 40 meters
  • Fire secondary critical damage multiplier reduced from 2 to 1.5
  • Secondary fire damage now scales linearly with energy from 30 to 130 (1 energy converted into 1 damage added)
  • Increased base fire damage per projectile from 9 to 10
  • Energy charge rate increased in running speed by 20%


Photon display

  • Packet charge rate and decay rate increased by 20%
  • The rate of consumption of initial ammunition for fire increased from 7 to 10 per second
  • Primary Fire gains ammo from destroyed barricades again

  • Damage increased from 5 to 6

  • Ability input can now be held for activation


  • Weapon exchange time reduced from 0.5 to 0.35 seconds

Mace blaster

  • Ammo increased from 20 to 25
