Tom Cruise reveals his ‘most dangerous stunt’ ever in a behind-the-scenes film for his upcoming movie ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1’ In a clip posted Wednesday on Twitter.

Days after he posted a video of himself jumping out of a plane, the “Top Gun” actor shared a 9-minute clip of himself driving a motorcycle off a cliff.

“This is the most dangerous thing we’ve ever attempted,” said the 60-year-old actor. “We’re going to shoot it in Norway and it’s going to be a motorcycle jumping off a cliff to jumping into the base.”

According to Cruz, he wanted to get involved in the risky business from a very young age.

Christopher McQuarrie, who wrote and directed the film, said Cruise, who insists on doing all of his own stunts, has put everything from the plan to the cast together.

Stunt coordinator Wade Eastwood revealed that Cruise had “a year of basic training, advanced skydiving training, lots of parachute skills, and lots of tracking.”

Primary jump coach Miles Daisher called Cruz “an amazing individual”.

“Doing the trick is just one of the technical challenges,” Macquarie said. “The other is to put the camera in place so you can see where Tom is doing.”

“Finding the right lens, the right platform, the right medium. Even a couple of years ago, there weren’t cameras around that would allow us to do what we’re trying to do today,” Macquarie added.

“We have to be able to consistently predict where Tom will be in three-dimensional space,” McCurry noted.

According to the video, Cruz did the stunt six times a day.

“This is the most dangerous stunt we’ve ever tried,” said McQuarrie. “The only thing that scares me more is what we have planned for Mission 8.”

Cruz recently wished his fans a happy vacation and thanked them for their support — then jumped out of a helicopter.
