In a recent interview, Sly was asked if he was the one who inspired Jordan to make his directorial debut. Stallone then revealed that the young actor wanted to try something new after his relationship with famed director Ryan Coogler, with whom he also worked on Black Panther, began developing and seeing the success of his first two films.

He said why don’t you try it because you never know. I swear to God you’ll even jump deep in the pool if you like this or that’s not what I really want to do. ” He said.

However, “Rocky” then went on to reveal a bitter truth about the actors who went into producing and directing the films. Sly claimed he saw actors who ventured into the production, quit after a few weeks. He also expressed sympathy for Jordan, saying that he would be cut out of work if he wanted to succeed in his endeavours.
