Mobile phone battery low?
Whether you are using an iPhone or an Android device, there are ways to mitigate the problem.
Apple has several tips on its website that iPhone owners can take advantage of.
Update to the latest software
Make sure your device is using the latest version of iOS by going to Settings, then General, then Software Update.

Optimize your iPhone settings
Dim the screen brightness by opening Control Center and toggling the brightness slider. Or go to Settings and Accessibility and tap Display & Text Size and turn on Auto-Brightness.
Additionally, when you use your device to access data, a Wi Fi connection consumes less power than a cellular network. Turn on Wi Fi by going to Settings and then to Wi Fi to access Wi Fi.
Enable low power mode
Introduced with iOS 9, Low Power Mode is an easy way to extend your iPhone battery life. Enable it by going to Settings and then Battery.
When the phone charges again, low power mode turns off automatically.
View battery usage information
You can manage your device’s battery life by monitoring what percentage each app is using, including background activity, location, background location, home screen, lock screen, and if there is no cellular coverage and low signal.
To view usage, go to Settings and then Battery.
HOW TO PUT THE FACE ON ANDROID DEVICES
Plug and turn on your computer to charge your device
Make sure your device is charged if it is connected to a computer. Make sure that the computer is not turned off or in sleep or standby mode.
Android also has a resource for interested users. Notably, some of the steps only work on Android 13 and above.
Choose the correct settings
Depending on Android, users can turn on a dark theme, delete unused accounts, turn on adaptive battery, restrict apps with high battery usage, turn off keyboard sounds or vibrations, set screen brightness to change automatically and allow screen to turn off soon.
Use the appropriate power adapter
Power adapters and other chargers can charge slowly or not at all and can damage your Android system and its battery.
Avoid situations where the phone can get hot
Batteries drain faster when they’re hot – even when you’re not using them.

Occasionally phone battery drain
Android says: “You don’t need to teach the battery capacity of your phone to go from full charge to zero, or from zero to full charge. Sometimes we recommend draining the battery below 10% and then fully charging it overnight.”
