Apparently, people have been pronouncing Brendan Fraser’s name wrong for years and just… how?

Brendan Fraser He revealed that people were saying his name wrongly to his followers and I am confused to say the least.

I spilled the beans in the process diverseThe most recent casting interview with Fraser W Adam SandlerWhere was the dynamic duo of the week Airheads Reunion. It’s a movie I’ve never seen but remember fairly vividly because of the iconic cover art I ran across a million times in Blockbuster as a kid.

Anyway, Sandler introduced Frasier by saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, Brendan Fraises, how do you say it again?” and mr George of the Jungle Correct it.

“It’s a Fray-zer,” Frasier replies, “like that thing you shave it with.”

“Let me say Fray-zsur,” Sandler said.

You know what? Fraser posited:

Sandler then reintroduced Frasier with “Ladies and Gentlemen, Brendan Fraaaay Zer,” and said it didn’t sound right.

“I was relieved,” Fraser replied.

And the Scene.

Yes, I have thoughts and feelings, why do you ask?

First things first, I don’t want to sound like a closed pig. I understand that not all words are pronounced phonetically.

However, I simply don’t understand how Brendan Fraser’s name could be pronounced other than Brian Don Frey Zyr. Or Fray-za, if you want to be really selective about how Australians say it.

Is this just an American thing, like how they say “aloom-inum” foil and pronounce “Craig” like it rhymes with “eggs”? Or how do they say “caramel” like that second “a” metas don’t exist?

If so, how is the name Brendan Fraser believed to be pronounced like Kelsey GrammerFraser Crane, the titular character in Fraser? There is no “I” in Fraser, so why is it pronounced like Fraser?

also, Fraser Started in 1993, Fraser made his film debut in 1991 in a flick called violently. Unlike the chicken and the egg, we know Frasier came before Frasier, so how did the rogue “I” sound in the actor’s name come about?

I’m going to delirium. I don’t know what’s real or fake anymore.

Sadly, Twitter reacted to the news in a way I can only imagine when people learned about it Alexander Fleming Discover penicillin. Shock, wonder, awe and intrigue.

Brendan Fraser, if you’re reading this, I’m so sorry people have been slaughtering your name since today. Judging by this clip I found on Twitter, it might seem like this spoken error has been happening for a while.

Thoughts, prayers, sympathy, and so on, my king.
