Disney+ Unveils New Lucasfilm Collection With Over 60 Movies And Shows

Disney+ has added a new collection to its service that brings together a slew of Lucasfilm projects, most of them Star Wars.

When it comes to these groups on the streaming service, more often than not, they are created in anticipation of an upcoming project.

For example, there was a previously created Black Panther pack Wakanda foreverconducting a group thor love and thunder, and the Obi-Wan Kenobi set before the Disney+ series – there are a handful of other examples. All of these methods provided an easy and concise way for fans to find out about relevant information.

Content packs also help provide additional organization to a service that has an insane amount of stuff.

Now, a new batch has arrived on the service that collects a large chunk of Lucasfilm’s past work.

Disney Plus Adds New Lucasfilm Collection

Disney recently added a new Lucasfilm collection to Disney+, and it includes almost all of the studio’s previous releases.


Not surprisingly, among the projects on the list are all the Star Wars films released to date:

For those wondering where Indiana Jones might be, the series is currently stuck in the middle of a rights issue.

While Lucasfilm and Disney both own the IP, Paramount still owns the distribution rights to the first four films, which precludes them from participating in Disney+. It is likely that the two parties will come to some kind of agreement before then Indiana Jones Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny next year so the streaming service can host the first four entries to prepare audiences.
