Shahrukh Khan talks about what changed in him after the failure of Zero: ‘I’m going to do something that people like, Bohot Carly Apne Dil Ke’

Shah Rukh shared how four years ago, when Aanand L Rai’s Zero failed at the box office, he considered doing something he had never done before. He said, “Four years ago, I was feeling a little weak, there were injuries, there were surgeries, but I thought I have to do something I’ve never done before. I have to get in good physical shape. During the conversation, Shah Rukh also talked about his four years of separation from the world of cinema, which was not a deliberate decision. The actor was originally only going to take a one-year break. “I was actually only taking a year off. I thought, ‘Thuda rokta hon, fit hota hon’ (I have to take a rest and get fit). Zero required a lot of hard work, and then it didn’t work out very well and nobody liked me.” “I felt bad. But then I thought I would do something that people would like, Bohot Karli Apne Dil Ki (Enough of what I want to do). But I also wanted to do something different for me,” SRK said.

Fans of the actor are eagerly awaiting to see him on the silver screen again with Pathaan releasing on 25th January 2023. He is excited and equally happy to be back in action. He said, “When I started working again, there was this strange hunger and newness in the work. I’ve been working for 32 years and I never thought there would be a time when I wouldn’t work.
